Joseph (Jake) Klein is a writer, speaker, filmmaker and author of Redefining Racism: How Racism Became “Power + Prejudice” , focusing on the history of the modern so-called “anti-racist” movement.” Jake is the co-founder and editor of The Black Sheep, and the lead writer and co-producer of the YouTube channel Beyond Now. As a public speaker, Jake has opened on stage for Richard Dawkins and debated at the Dissident Dialogues festival. Jake volunteers for Atheists for Liberty. Jake was raised Orthodox in a Jewish community in the greater Washington D.C. area, and attended a K-12 Jewish school with a mission of instilling Zionist ideology and identity in its students. Jake is currently an atheist critical of Jewish religious practice and an anti-Zionist critical of ethnic identitarianism and ethno-nationalism.
