Haram Doodles is an ExMuslim and an artist. She grew up in a South Asian Muslim bubble in the US and although she was also surrounded by diverse music, books, TV shows, movies, and people on the outside of that bubble, her childhood love of doodling was shut down at a young age because of Islam. As a curious little kid, Haram questioned many things in the Quran and always wondered why Allah hated everything that seemed feminine, fair, fun, fulfilling, freeing and funny. Finally in 2022, she started sharing her doodles on Instagram. Haram (forbidden) Doodles are created in solidarity with courageous ExMuslims who leave Islam.
